Hey all,

I just joined this forum in an effort to pursue my childhood interest in astronomy. Can u experts out there point to some easy reading material, or tips on how to get started. It will be a great help for all newbies like me

There are several good books for starters Norton's Star Atlas,Charts/Proper pronounment of terms and formulas. The Audubon Society, Field guide To The Night Sky. Astrophotos/charts in a nice compact size. complete Messiers and Ngc cataloge.
